Mr Robertson’s awards were in the Commercial Category and he was named a finalist for the 2007 New Zealand Commercial Photographer of the Year. He also won a third award, a bronze, in the Landscape Category.

The awards attracted over 1100 entries from 300 professional photographers throughout the country. Entries were judged in an open forum over three intense days by panels of well-known professional photographers from New Zealand and Australia.

Event Venues Rotorua sales and marketing manager Diana Moore said she was not surprised to see Mr Robertson gain recognition in the prestigious national photography awards, and added her congratulations.
